Manufacturer: "Bing" (I built it myself) Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6700 @ 2.66GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM (4-4-3-5 lat) Hard Drives: 3x Seagate 500GB (in RAID5) Optical Drives: 2x CD/DVD+/-RW with Lightscribe Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS Monitor: Samsung 22" SyncMaster 226BW (2ms; 3000:1) Sound Card: Integrated Speakers/Headphones: CA Keyboard: Rosewill Mouse: Microsoft Optical Mouse Mouse Surface: Desktop Operating System: Windows Vista™ Ultimate (32 bit) Motherboard: ASUS P5K Computer Case: Antec P182SP Build Date: June 2007 Unboxing the parts from Newegg and TigerDirect: The three hard drives, two optical drives, etc: Putting the pieces together: Setting up the monitor and inputs in my old room: Installing Windows (before I got speakers): Not exactly a 4TB HDD, 16GB RAM quad-core set-up, but considering I built it nearly two years ago and it's still fairly top-of-the-line, I'm pretty proud of it. The RAID5 array is probably the most distinguishing factor, and has already saved my ass a few times.

Damn you guys have so sick stuff... especially you Quik. I built mine more as a home theater PC that could also do solid gaming-- so no elaborate water cooling or overclocking or anything. I generally plaw GRAW2 with the graphics settings turned down. CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale (3 ghz) MOBO: Gigabyte something or other with 4xDDR3 1333 RAM slots, Intel P45 chipset, lots o' SATAs, gigabit ethernet, etc. RAM: 2gb OCZ low latency etc. DDR3 1333 VID CARD: nVidia 9500gts with HDMI out HDDs: 150gb Velociraptor 10k rpm for OS and Apps + 2x500gb Seagate Barracudas in RAID0 Striped for Data storage (mainly use it for ripping Blu Rays right now) POWER SUPPLY: 580W...? Bronze cert. energy efficient 1x LG DVD-RW sata drive 1x LG DVD-RW, Blu Ray and HD DVD ROM sata drive All in a ThermalTake Mozart HTPC case MONITOR: Vizio 37" LCD TV with HDMI in Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse, yada yada OS: Windows 7 Release Candidate (For safe storage and music serving I also have a FreeNAS 0.68 box with 2xWestern Digital Caviar Green 1TB drives in RAID1 running SqueezeCenter 7.3.1. For mobility I have my old Dell Inspiron 4000 ca. 2001 with a Pentium III and 256mb RAM that still runs Win XP SP3 just fine, though slowly. I've only had to replace the HDD and the hinges on this machine-- best puter I've ever had.) Maybe pics when I'm home tonight...
